The Owen Price Sports Fund has been set up in memory of Owen who passed away on the 5/6/2006 aged 17. Owen had played roller hockey from the age of 6 starting with Abergavenny then HOV Hotshots, Howardians , Pontypool and Wales Super league teams . He also played ice hockey with the Cardiff Devils u16 and u19 teams. Owen loved to coach as well, helping coach the younger age groups and in 2006 training the South Wales u12 team.



Colin and Hayley would like to thank everyone who took part in the sponsored walk on Sunday 24/9/06 even though the weather was not the best, being quite wet and windy especially at the top of the mountain. 86 people actually did the walk with £ 625.00 raised from collections on the day but with many having sponsorship as well the total could be much higher.
A special thanks to Glynn and Cheryl Leek for organising the day, Alistair Hishelwood for making the memorial stone and all those that helped to carry it.

The dates for the Lewis Fullwood & Owen Price Tournaments have been announced and will take place at Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre in May.
